Sometimes as a viewer, I feel like someone just trying to keep afloat on top of water, bobbing my head as I attempt not to swallow the water. No one is ever good, no episode ends happily, no character catches a break for more than a moment before they are back down in the rubble again. The characters we have loved have all gone sour. However, as the season has progressed, the gladiators seem to have found some level ground.

Rey Curtis (played by Benjamin Bratt) replaced season five's Mike Logan (Chris Noth) in the role of Junior Detective. This change left District Attorney Adam Schiff (played by Steven Hill) as the only remaining member of the series' cast from the first season. Hill was not an original member of the cast, as his character replaced District Attorney Alfred Wentworth (played by Roy Thinnes) from the original pilot, "Everyone's Favorite Bagman". Paul Robinette (played by original cast member Richard Brooks) returns in the episode "Custody", his first guest appearance since his departure after season three.

Jill Hennessy, who played Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid, left the series at the end of the 6th season. Richard Brooks, as Paul Robinette, returns in the episode "Custody", having his first guest appearance after his departure from the series at the end of the 3rd season.

Apart from the dramatic events, Ep 11 was filled with energy and urgency. The changes in lighting from moody and sinister to bright and revealing then finally to soft romance helped to make mood shifts clear and immediately comprehensible. A solid episode all around.

Halfway through the Line of Duty season six finale, AC-12 finally found out the identity of 'H', or the "Fourth Man" who they had been chasing for so long. Did we, the viewers, find out at the same time? No, we most certainly did not.

Then DC Chloe Bishop (Shalom Brune-Franklin) came to the rescue! Line of Duty fans have been suspicious of AC-12's brainy new recruit ever since she appeared this season, but in the end it was entirely unwarranted.

As the medical counsellor (played by Steve Oram) told Steve, his urine sample had revealed "very high doses" of painkillers. The counsellor noted the serious assault Steve suffered in season four, and raised an eyebrow at Steve's claim he was only taking painkillers for a couple of minor sports injuries. He suggested Steve should take some time off work, and told him he'd have to surrender his firearms licence voluntarily, or risk having it formally removed. In addition, he probed the mental trauma Steve must be carrying from having witnessed so many colleagues' violent deaths.

Ted is retired, even if he means to contest it; the process to merge and cut back on AC-3, AC-9 and AC-12 is still underway; close colleagues of the Chief Constable have been appointed to senior anti-corruption jobs; Steve must face his addiction and his back problems; Kate wants to rejoin AC-12, but may derail her career if she does; and institutional corruption remains rampant. Across all six seasons, our anti-corruption heroes have been picking rotten apples out of the barrel, but they can never remove enough to stop the rot.

While I think the background on Endeavor painting him as a power-crazed maniac who forced his wife to marry and conceive for him is pretty effective in helping the public turn on him, I find the part about Hawks a reach. Granted, he was involved in the disappearance of Best Jeanist, but his killing Twice should not have made any difference for the viewers considering what the League has done in the past. I really felt it was silly when that was the part people were reacting to during the broadcast. That said, it was pretty messed up seeing Endeavor paralyzed as Dabi prepares to end him with his own blue Prominence Burn. However, someone manages to stop the villains in their tracks, making their first appearance in quite some time: Best Jeanist is alive! I cannot wait to see the repercussions of this news in the next episode of My Hero Academia and what Dabi's confessions bring to the table. Talk about an ambush gone wrong!

The episodes of 07 Ghost were created by Studio DEEN. Directed by Nobuhiro Takamoto, the anime premiered on Chiba TV on April 6, 2009. The series uses two pieces of theme music: 'Aka no Kakera' by Yuuki Suzuki is the opening theme, while 'Hitomi no Kotae by Noria is the ending theme.
