Divinyls - Greatest Hits (2006)

Christine (Chrissy) Amphlett was born and raised in Geelong and is considered one of the city's greatest musical exports. Her band The Divinyls went on to achieve global fame with hits including Science Fiction, Boys In Town, Pleasure and Pain and I Touch Myself. Science Fiction has been named by the Australian Performing Rights Association (APRA) as one of the Top 30 Australian songs of all time. In 2006 The Divinyls were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. Chrissy died from breast cancer on April 21 2013.
